Regarding the lifting of coronavirus restrictions in Bulgaria

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, from May 1, 2022, the country cancels all measures and restrictions on entry imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Thus presenting a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test for COVID-19 is no longer required. Wearing masks is also no longer mandatory.
At the same time to visit Bulgaria Russian citizens require a national visa. It is possible to enter the country with a multiple Schengen visa, or with national visas issued by Cyprus, Croatia or Romania.
Please note that the submission of documents for visa processing to Russian citizens is only possible through prior approval with the Bulgarian Consulate, or through travel agencies.
